Inside Golden Winner: Theme and Layout
Golden Winner is a classic fruit machine dressed for the screen. It runs on five reels and three rows, with ten paylines that stay fixed, so every spin is checked against the same ten lines.
From retail cabinet to online slot
The game is the online and mobile version of Inspired Gaming's retail slot Gold Winner, which the studio describes as one of its top performers. Inspired announced it on 2 August 2023 in a summer line-up that also included Gold Cash Free Spins Megaways. OLBG lists a 7 July 2023 release date, so sources differ slightly on timing.
How wins are formed
Wins come from matching symbols along a payline, as you would expect from a traditional layout. The extras sit on top of that base game, and they are where most of the interest lies.
- 5 reels, 10 fixed paylines
- Provider: Inspired Gaming
- Features: bell wilds, free spins trail, Fortune Spins, gamble
Bell Wilds as Cash Collectors
The bell wilds are the signature of the base game. Beyond standing in for other symbols, they work as cash collectors, so a bell landing on the reels is more than a simple substitute.
Exactly which values a bell can pick up, and how often, is set out in the in-game paytable. Read it before betting real money, because that screen is the authority on how the collecting works rather than any summary, this one included.
Open the info screen on your first spin. It shows how the bells behave and how the bonus triggers, and it takes a minute.
Free Spins, the Golden Bell Trail and Fortune Spins
The progressive trail
The free spins bonus is built around a progressive trail. It moves forward with each golden bell won, so the round rewards collecting bells rather than simply waiting for a fixed number of spins to run out.
Fortune Spins
Fortune Spins is listed as a separate feature of the game. Its rules appear in the game's help screen, and that is the place to confirm how it triggers before you rely on it.
The trail is the part worth watching: every golden bell moves the bonus along.
Using the Gamble Feature Wisely
A route into free spins
According to the launch material, the gamble feature can give direct access to free spins. That makes it more than the usual double-or-nothing step, because the stake at risk is a win you already have, in exchange for a shot at the bonus.
Keeping it under control
Any gamble means putting a win back on the line, so decide beforehand whether you will use it at all. The casino offers deposit limits and self-exclusion if you want firmer boundaries, and a limit set before play is easier to keep than one set mid-session.
- Decide your rule before the session, not during it
- Treat each gamble as a real chance of losing the win
- Stop when your set budget or time is used
Stakes, RTP and Volatility
Why the RTP figure differs
OLBG lists the RTP as 94.5%, and the launch announcement cites two settings, 92% and 94.5%. Some casino pages show 95% instead. Operators can run different configurations, so check the figure in the game's own info screen at the site you play on.
Volatility and top prize
OLBG rates the slot as high volatility and lists a maximum win of 2,777x the stake, while a few casino pages call it medium. High volatility generally means longer quiet stretches between bigger hits, so size your bets for that. Bet levels are chosen in the game's bet menu.
| Detail | Listed value |

| Layout | 5 reels, 10 paylines |
| RTP | 94.5% (92% setting also cited) |

Playing It on Mobile and With the Welcome Offer
The game was released for both online and mobile play, and the casino's mobile app is the simplest way to spin on a phone. Golden Winner Rollino sessions work the same way on a small screen, with the same features.
New players can claim a welcome package of 100% up to £500 + 100 free spins on the first deposit; the full terms are on the bonus page. If you like the fruit-machine style, Golden Winner Grand Chance is a separate 2022 Inspired game, and Gold Cash Free Spins is another release from the same studio.
A free-play mode is not confirmed on the provider's page, though some casinos offer one in the lobby. Look for it before staking real money.
FAQ
How do the bell wilds collect cash in Golden Winner?
The bell wilds are described as cash collectors, which sets them apart from ordinary wilds. The precise values and conditions are listed in the in-game paytable, so check it there.
Why do casinos show different RTP figures for this slot?
The provider's launch material cites 92% and 94.5% settings, and some casino pages list 95%. Operators can use different configurations, so the game's info screen at your casino is the figure that applies.
Is Golden Winner the same as Gold Winner?
Not exactly. Gold Winner is Inspired Gaming's retail slot, and Golden Winner is its online and mobile version. Golden Winner: Grand Chance from 2022 is a separate game.
Does the gamble feature lead to free spins?
The launch material says the gamble can give direct access to free spins. Because it risks a win you already hold, it is wise to set your limit before using it.
